A beachside restaurant, nestled under pine trees on the shores of the Mediterranean, Muse Monte Carlo is an all-day dining spot, offering a warm atmosphere, creative cocktails and refined cuisine. Muse is located within the prestigious Méridien Beach Plaza Hotel and offers a refined yet relaxing dining experience for both hotel guests and visitors. To add to the overall ambience of the restaurant, an audio system for background music was required, and the teams at Envy Soul and AEI Tech provided a solution from renowned K-array loudspeaker brand, KGEAR.

“The restaurant comprises both inside and outside zones, with adjustable awnings to facilitate dining throughout the seasons,” explains Thomas Fabbri, Business & Development Director at AEI Tech. “KGEAR’s GH4 was ideal as a great all-rounder, appropriate for both enclosed and open spaces with its IP64 rating.”

Within the covered section of Muse, 20 GH4 loudspeakers are installed in pairs and affixed to the top of floor-to-ceiling posts throughout the restaurant, ensuring optimal sound coverage. Three GS12 subwoofers were added at the bottom of three of these posts to provide the low-frequency reinforcement required for the restaurant’s regular DJ sessions. In the outdoor dining area, four more pairs of GH4 were affixed to the courtyard’s characteristic pine trees. The complete system is driven by KGEAR’s own 4-channel GA43 amplifiers.

“Even in challenging acoustic environments, such as the open-air setting of Muse, GH4s are capable of delivering powerful and clear audio,” continues Fabbri. “Being compact, they are easy to install and are perfectly suited for overall background audio ambience as well as acting as a performance system for poolside DJ performances.”
